Faversham Ships is a privately held UK (and Holland) based shipping company, operating a fleet of general cargo vessels ranging from 2380 to 4850mt dwt. Our company was formed in 1994 with the first investment of the vessel ‘Conformity’. Our company is run by ex-seafarers with specific knowledge and experience with these kinds of vessels and trade, who use a ‘hands-on’ approach towards the operation and maintenance of the ships.

 

 After steadily developing the ships and our company, we now proudly own and manage a variety of vessels, as well as carrying out commercial/ chartering activities, technical management activities, and undertaking projects like ship inspections, ISM audits, superintendency and dockings for other operators.

 

 The company policy has always been to obtain vessels tailored to the smaller segments of the market. Our high maintenance standards and experienced crew members have allowed us to build great long-term relationships with charterers and return customers, allowing steady employment and job security for our seafarers and crews over time.

 

 Our current fleet, as of 2024, consists of: Clarity, Conformity, Celebrity, Beaumont, Victress, Eastern Vanquish, Velox, Trinity, Ventura, Vitality and Vesper. This fleet consists of conventional and low air draft coastal vessels (suitable for dangerous cargos, loading/ discharging ashore and are highly manoeuvrable etc), providing a flexible range of ship types and sizes which are able to manage a wide range of diverse, technical and logistical operations for many different types of clientele.
